Truck Triage started 7 years ago under a different name but a similar purpose:
To help people by being proficient, honest, and efficient in the automotive industry
The goal was accomplished at a small shop that I quickly outgrew but could not escape due to availability problems that are often associated with living in a small town. So I began to specialize more and more I was only doing very high end custom builds. It seemed like many peoples dream in the automotive field to do the work that is most often portrayed on the TV but there was a fundamental disconnect because I was drifting away from my core desire. I was also under the impression that there would be more honest shops who would take care of my customers that I had become friends with over the years while I was busy doing custom work. Something that I discovered was also not true. So I decided to change directions again and get back to helping as many people as I can.
The primary core functions of Truck Triage have the end user in mind from start to finish. I believe in vehicle maintenance, so I wanted to make that as easy as possible which is why it makes sense to come right where the truck is. Mobile Maintenance is a great way for people to take care of their vehicle’s basic needs without disrupting their schedule which means they can do it when they are supposed to.
The Repair Shop continues to operate similar to how it used to but with a greater focus on convenience and not getting backed up on huge jobs so we can help more businesses and people.
The Technical Support element is so I can still help people regardless of where they are. I gained so many customers who traveled to Western North Carolina and had truck problems as soon as they hit the mountains. The problem was that many of them would call me months or years later from all over the country looking for some advice while their truck was being service or repaired for something else because they appreciated my honesty and competence. So I created a way for people to get that undivided attention they deserve by making a way they could schedule and block out time for whatever they needed.
